Studio for Mac help
Add cameras, screens and media, build shots in Preview, take them to Program, record, use the Virtual Camera and go live through Stream24.

- Install Stream24 Studio and sign in Download Stream24 Studio for Mac, move it to Applications and sign in with Google or an emailed code. What it needs, and what the Free plan includes.
- Studio says the account is signed in on two computers A Stream24 account can use Studio on two Macs or PCs at a time. If a third asks you to sign one out, here is how to choose which computer to free up.
- Allow Studio to use your camera, microphone and screen macOS asks before Studio can use a camera, microphone, your screen or the local network. If you said no, or nothing appears, here is where to turn it back on.
- Use Studio as a camera in Zoom, Meet or Teams Turn on the Stream24 Studio virtual camera to show your produced Program in Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams or OBS, and fix it when macOS needs your approval.
- Record your show in Studio Record Program to your Mac, on its own or while you stream. Choose MP4 or MOV, H.264 or HEVC, the quality and size, and find your recordings in Movies/Stream24.
- Go live from Studio Send Studio's Program to every channel in your Stream24 account with one upload. Turn destinations on, check the stream settings and watch the connection while live.
- There's no sound from a source in Studio New sources in Stream24 Studio start muted. Unmute them in the Audio panel, add a microphone as External Audio, and check the microphone permission.
- Add cameras, screens and media to Studio Put a camera, your screen, a phone, NDI, slides, video or audio on a Studio source tile, and know how many inputs your plan includes.

Viewers don't see the shot I picked in Studio
Viewers, recordings and the live stream only get Program. Preview is where you build the next shot.

Click Take, or press ⌘↩ to cut instantly. Double-clicking a source sends it straight to Program.

I can't add another camera or source in Studio
Sources go on empty tiles, and your plan sets how many inputs Studio has.

Click an empty source tile, then pick what to add: a camera, screen, phone, NDI, slides, video or audio.

Your plan sets the number of inputs: 3 on Free, 6 on Starter and 16 on Pro.

Stream24 Studio isn't showing as a camera in Zoom, Meet or Teams
The Virtual Camera has to be on in Studio, and then picked as the camera in your meeting app.

In Zoom, Meet or Teams, pick Stream24 Studio as the camera. They see Program.

The virtual camera is part of Starter and Pro.

Will Studio or OmniDownload run on my Mac?
Both apps are free to download for Mac. Check your macOS version and chip first.

Stream24 Studio needs macOS 13 or later, on Apple silicon or Intel.
Download Studio -
OmniDownload (Beta) needs macOS 11 or later on Apple silicon.
About OmniDownload -
There is no Windows desktop app. On Windows, use the Stream24 web app at app.stream24.io with OBS or any encoder.
