All three Mac apps are checked by Apple. None of them has a Windows version yet.
Studio checks for a new version when it opens and every few hours after that, then updates itself. It does not update during a live show or a recording. You can also choose Stream24 Studio → Check for Updates. OmniDownload updates itself too: it checks when it opens and every hour, downloads the new version in the background and installs it when you quit or choose Restart to update. You can also choose OmniDownload → Check for Updates. Versions before 1.5.0 offer the new disk image once. Stream24 Share checks about once an hour and opens the new disk image for you — drag the new copy to Applications. It does not replace itself, and it waits for a transfer to finish.

Use the web app to go live from a browser. Use Stream24 Studio when you want to produce the show on a Mac and multistream it through Stream24. Use OmniDownload (Beta) to save supported videos on an Apple silicon Mac. OmniDownload does not go live. Use Stream24 Share to send files from your Mac to another Mac or iPhone on the same network.
Stream24 Studio requires macOS 13 or later on Apple silicon or Intel. OmniDownload (Beta) requires macOS 11 or later on Apple silicon. Stream24 Share requires macOS 14 or later on Apple silicon or Intel. There is no Windows desktop app. The web app runs in a current browser.
