Studio sends one stream to Stream24. Stream24's servers relay it to every destination turned on in your account — YouTube, Facebook, TikTok, Instagram, Twitch, LinkedIn, X, Kick, Rumble, Dailymotion, Vimeo, Trovo and Custom RTMP — so your connection only uploads once.
Yes — it is universal. macOS 13 Ventura or later.
No. Studio is the switcher, graphics and encoder in one, and Stream24 is the multistreaming built in. OBS still works with Stream24 if you prefer it.
Quit the app fully (⌘Q) and reopen it once after turning the virtual camera on. Your own preview is mirrored; others see it the right way round.
vMix runs on Windows, not on Mac. On a Mac, Stream24 Studio switches cameras, screens and files, with graphics, picture-in-picture, recording and a virtual camera, on Apple silicon and Intel, then multistreams the show through Stream24. Shows that need more than 16 inputs are outside what Studio does.
If you want ready-made graphics and multistreaming without plugins, Stream24 Studio is built for that: Preview and Program with Take and Cut, 82 templates, and one upload that Stream24 sends to up to 13 platforms. OBS remains the choice if you rely on plugins or scripting, or need to work fully offline without an account.
