Stream24 Studio release notes

The current version of Stream24 Studio for Mac and the one before it. Studio checks for updates on its own and tells you when a new one is ready.

  1. 1.6.5 (101) Current

    • Bible & Lyrics is new, and the panel is marked Beta. Choose a verse and it goes to Preview. Take, Cut, or Fade sends it to Program. A book or a chapter only browses.
    • King James, the World English Bible, and Swahili ULB are included, with the American Standard Version and a public-domain Swahili New Testament.
    • The Swahili New Testament is not Swahili ULB. That public-domain text has no Philippians, so Philippians is not in it. Swahili ULB remains the full Bible.
    • Format, type, the citation, the background, and extra Bibles are in Customise. Up and down move the verse on Preview.
  2. 1.6.4 (100)

    • Go Live opens in one window over your workspace: destinations as compact rows with a switch each, and stream settings. Studio checks your connection, destinations and output before it starts, and says plainly what to fix.
    • While live, the same window shows each destination's status, the picture Studio is sending, and how long Stream24 takes to receive it. Stop asks before it ends the stream.
    • When your upload can't keep up, Studio sees it within a second, sets the bitrate to what the connection carries, and stays close to live instead of falling seconds behind.
    • The header shows Canvas and Output. Output is what Go Live really sends, and you can choose a smaller size for a slow connection.
    • Disk space for recordings sits beside CPU and memory, and Transition and Duration are labelled dropdowns beside Take.

Every release goes to every platform the same way: one stream from Studio, multistreamed by Stream24. How multistreaming works
