FixTroubleshooting

A channel's saved key stopped working

If one platform stops receiving your broadcast, its saved key may have changed on the platform's side, or the connection may need renewing. Save it again.

How to fix it

  1. Step 1: Check the channel's status

The channel list shows each destination's status. A problem with a saved key is reported on that channel.

  2. Step 2: Reconnect YouTube, Facebook or Twitch

For a channel connected with Account, open it and continue with the platform again so Stream24 loads a fresh key.

  3. Step 3: Paste the current key for other platforms

If you reset or changed the key on the platform, copy the new one from its live dashboard, paste it on the Paste a key tab and click Save.

  4. Step 4: Switch it on again

Turn the channel back on for this broadcast.

Good to know

  • Saving a key again also re-encrypts it, which fixes a stored key that can no longer be read.
